April 2018 - Water Awareness Month &
National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation
As part of Arizona’s Water Awareness Month this coming April, we will be organizing free events to engage, educate, and inspire community members to be more water conscious. Because we live in a high desert, it is crucial to understand the importance of practicing mindful water use. Established by Executive Order in 2008, Water Awareness Month is a call to become more aware of our habits and determine where we can reasonably reduce their water use.
Help us defend the title by pledging to do your part for water conservation with the Wyland National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation.
Please join us! Friday April 6th @ 7:00 pm for First Friday Artwalk at Firecreek Coffee Co on Route 66. Art Contest Winning submissions will be displayed alongside Coconino HS art and we'll kick off Water Awareness Month (April) 2018!
